Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining accounting files and records, analyzing data and trends, preparing financial transactions, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 1-5 years of experience in related field, and knowledge of GAAP and FAR regulations.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting files and records.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and process financial transactions, including journal entries, cash disbursements, and cash receipts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data before processing in Deltek Vision.
  • Collaborate with management to review and maintain accounting procedures and recommend opportunities for change.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and meet deadlines for financial reporting.
  • Provide support with budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and proactively address potential issues.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-5 years of experience in related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and FAR regulations.
  • Deltek Vision systems experience preferred.
  • Candidate should possess high levels of integrity, collaboration skills, and ability to work in a diverse team.
