Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead and develop our software engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

The Senior Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading a remote team of engineers in their time zone
  • Developing talent through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development
  • Setting and managing expectations with other engineering teams, management, and external stakeholders
  • Being an active part of the leadership team and collaborating with other leaders in the organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and plans
  • Ensure high-quality software delivery through rigorous testing, validation, and verification

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading successful software projects and teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
