Senior Accountant - Full Time Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team. This is a key role for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in US GAAP, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to manage full-cycle accounting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and assist in monthly and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing of transactions.
  • Prepare reports, assist with tax filings, compliance documentation, and audit support.
  • Partner with the Finance Director to streamline accounting workflows and optimize financial operations.
  • Manage QuickBooks for daily entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc financial projects and administrative tasks related to finance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proven experience using QuickBooks in a professional setting (must-have).
  • Preferred: Background in e-commerce or retail accounting (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with global teams across time zones.
