Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing and validating web integrations, features, and analytics dashboards for both customer and internal projects.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating integrations between systems, reviewing user stories and integration requirements for testability and clarity, designing, executing and maintaining manual and automated test cases for data flows, workflows and process automation, verifying data mapping, synchronization and error handling between connected systems, performing functional, regression, exploratory and UAT testing on platform features and enhancements, testing and validating BI reports and dashboards for data accuracy, visualization and usability, documenting and tracking bugs, issues and test results using project management tools, collaborating with developers, BI/reporting teams and technical solutions architects to troubleshoot and resolve defects, contributing to QA automation initiatives as skills develop and assisting in maintaining QA process documentation and knowledge base.
- The Quality Assurance Specialist will also be responsible for participating in regular project meetings, providing QA updates and insights, continuously learning and applying new QA best practices, integration skills and reporting validation techniques, supporting QA automation initiatives as skills develop and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in QA, software testing or a related technical role (internships, school projects welcome).
- Basic understanding of web applications, APIs (REST, SOAP) and data flows.
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and analysis.
