Senior Financial Accountant Job Description

About the Company:

A global leader in manufacturing and production, we design and build hardware that converts electricity into usable power for electronic equipment.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead our financial reporting process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, including fixed assets, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.

You will also be responsible for maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines accurately.

Requirements for Success:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal financial controls.
  • Skilled in using Concur, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and banking platforms.

This role offers a full work-from-home position, providing flexibility while supporting teams across multiple regions on a night shift schedule.
