We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide technical support for ongoing engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Job Overview:

The Engineering Support Specialist will work closely with the team to prepare drawings, diagrams, and documentation that ensure smooth project execution. This involves creating and editing 2D drawings using AutoCAD, preparing diagrams and layouts in Microsoft Visio or similar tools, assisting with developing cutsheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics, organizing and maintaining engineering documentation and project files, conducting light technical research, and supporting the engineering team with other documentation or technical tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and edit 2D drawings using AutoCAD
  • Prepare diagrams and layouts in Microsoft Visio or similar tools
  • Assist with developing cutsheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Organize and maintain engineering documentation and project files
  • Conduct light technical research
  • Support the engineering team with other documentation or technical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (basic 2D drawing skills required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming software
  • Familiarity with wiring harness components is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in electrical or mechanical engineering support is preferred but not required
