Role Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled animation professional to join our growing media team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and animating motion graphics for various platforms, including YouTube shows, social content, and educational materials.

The selected individual will be responsible for bringing the brand to life through engaging animations that educate, entertain, and inspire our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and sound design in motion work.

To succeed in this position, applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Motion Graphics Design: Create high-quality motion graphics for use in YouTube shows, video series, social content, and educational materials
  • Animation Production: Translate scripts, storyboards, and verbal briefs into engaging animations
  • Collaboration: Work closely with producers, editors, content writers, and creative leads to align visuals with strategic goals
  • Branded Assets: Develop branded assets and visual templates that support consistency across content streams
  • Platform Optimization: Optimize animations for performance across various platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, LMS, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years of animation and motion design experience
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop; bonus: Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar
  • Aesthetic Sensitivity: An eye for detail and design, with the ability to animate both abstract and character-driven content
  • Talent Development: A collaborative mindset: open to feedback, always iterating
  • Prioritization: Comfortable working at pace and managing deadlines

  • Deliverables: Deliver polished, professional animations that reflect the brand tone: bold, clear, energetic, and trusted
  • Brand Evolution: Evolve the brand visually, helping shape its creative identity across YouTube, social, and internal media
  • Efficiency: Build a strong motion design system: using reusable templates and assets to ensure consistency and speed
  • Storytelling: Proactively suggest animation ideas, styles, or approaches that enhance storytelling
  • Adaptability: Keep up with trends in motion design and bring fresh inspiration to the team
