Patient Care Coordinator
Job Description:This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities. The Patient Care Coordinator will provide outstanding patient care, working closely with a U.S.-based healthcare client. Key responsibilities include answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, making outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders and follow-ups, and responding to patient text messages and emails.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
- Respond to patient text messages and emails with accurate and timely information.
- Handle faxes by uploading documents, rerouting them to the appropriate departments, and managing new patient documentation.
- Maintain and update patient records by mirroring data between systems.
- Provide exceptional service while multitasking across phone, email, and text communication channels.
- Follow up on pending authorizations, lab results, or documentation as directed by the provider or practice.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a healthcare setting, excellent English communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, proficiency with office software and document management, and high attention to detail when handling sensitive patient data.
The Patient Care Coordinator must be able to work U.S. business hours and coordinate with a remote team.
