Bookkeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, etc. Your duties will also include preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.

You will generate timely and insightful financial reports for management review and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

In addition, you will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address financial queries and concerns.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, etc.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
