Cloud Computing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Developer to join our team. As an application engineer, you will work closely with business partners, technology architects, and system analysts to implement the enterprise applications product roadmap.

You will apply technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, perform bug triage, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and find solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business partners to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
• Partnering with business, internal, and external technology teams to define system requirements and solutions.
• Participating in systems implementation projects, including requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

You will design, implement, and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Identifying potential solutions and presenting them to business and IT stakeholders.
• Facilitating review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
• Investigating Finance production support issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Developing project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go live.
• Participating in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing, and evaluating new functionality.
• Supporting delivery of reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business.
• Leading data management and migration activities.
• Ensuring training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines.
• Engaging in areas like Security, Compliance, Reporting, Production, and participating in change management support.

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.
• A good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas, including ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
• Experience in Javascript or any other programming language.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
• A proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
• The ability to document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
• Customer-centricity, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage business and technology relationships.
• A self-starter mentality, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with both technical and non-technical parties.
• A 'Can Do' attitude and openness to learning.
