Job Title: Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking systems.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases that meet business needs.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld and defects are resolved efficiently.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes to ensure resolution meets business requirements.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts to increase efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align with team goals and objectives.
  • Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is an asset).
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools to manage testing tasks and track progress.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks to prioritize and deliver results efficiently.
