Job Title

This is a full-time remote position for an organized and detail-oriented professional to report to the Admin Manager in financial and office operations.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper who will utilize their skills to prepare and reconcile general bank statements, ensure data is entered into the system, and establish supplier accounts.
  • The ideal candidate will enter bills to Xero, perform general bookkeeping tasks, and prepare monthly construction claims invoices per job.
  • PAYROLL: Single Touch Payroll, superannuation payments, BAS reporting, and reconciliations of accounts receivable and accounts payable are key responsibilities.
  • The selected candidate will reconcile credit cards, supplier reconciliations, and email remittances. General administration duties include handling correspondence via emails, letters, and memos.
  • The successful candidate will reconcile contractor payments, prepare purchase orders when required, request safety documents from subcontractors, and manage online storage documents for various jobs.
  • They will upload OHS documents to Site Book/OHS program, update cost build-up for all projects, and email weekly construction updates.
  • The ideal candidate will also manage online banking, create payments as needed, update insurances and VicRoads spreadsheet, and update cash flow with monthly invoicing.
