We are seeking an experienced Associate Creative Director to join our team at August 99. As a key member of our design department, you will play a vital role in shaping the visual identity of our company.

About the Job

As an Associate Creative Director, you will be responsible for providing art direction for various design and marketing projects, translating business objectives into visual solutions, and creating compelling concepts.

  • Provides art direction for various design and marketing projects needed for the company's internal divisions, spanning from web, mobile, social, print and more.
  • Responsible for translating the overall company business objectives into usable, visual solutions. Design leading digital experiences, create compelling concepts and see that vision through to reality.
  • Creation of brand guidelines and upholding visual standards consistent with the brand's overall objectives. Responsible for articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices.
  • It is up-to-date and very familiar with all of the brand's products and services and is able to provide design support and consultation for sales and marketing teams.
  • Understands the principles of information architecture, the flow of information and how effective the user finds it.
  • Leads project management, art direction, and designers in communicating design objectives to coding and front-end development departments.
  • Keeps a streamlined design process from initial design meetings, design presentations, revisions and handoffs between departments.
  • Coordinates with managers, particularly the board of directors, design and creative directors, via phone, email and in-person meetings as needed.
  • Assist in tracking design-related issues for projects and actively seeks solutions.
  • May represent the company as a brand ambassador in outside events including job fairs, trade shows, and design events.
  • Works directly with the Creative Director and CEO in defining our brands, logos, and products so that we have a consistent image across all visual marketing platforms.
  • Assist the Creative Director to manage the overall scope, resources, and priorities for multiple and simultaneous internal branding projects.
Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing visual strategies for internal branding projects.
  • Leading project management, art direction, and designers in communicating design objectives.
  • Providing design support and consultation for sales and marketing teams.
  • Representing the company as a brand ambassador in outside events.
  • Working directly with the Creative Director and CEO in defining our brands, logos, and products.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Creative Director who possesses:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications or equivalent.
  • Experience with core design programs, particularly Adobe products.
  • At least 3 years' experience creating a vision and concepts for client brands.
  • Must have excellent English, both via written and oral communication.
  • Thorough understanding of the design process, project management principles, managing client relationships, and marketing basics.
  • A portfolio or examples of relevant work that demonstrate proficiency.
  • Primarily day shift schedule.
