Overview

This is a highly technical and analytical position at Crisp. As a Data & Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging analytics and engineering to make information accessible, accurate, and actionable across multiple business units.

  • Work across Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, Google Sheets, Domo, and lightweight code to create reporting packs for managers, directors, and executives.
  • Partner with teams across operations, recruiting, HR, coaching, marketing, sales, and finance to build flexible, self-serve tools.
  • Collect and analyze productivity and performance data across departments; identify gaps, trends, and actionable insights.
Responsibilities
  1. Translate stakeholder needs into working prototypes, dashboards, and reporting tools in hours, not days.
  2. Ensure compliance, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards.
  3. Maintain KPI definitions, data dictionaries, and process documentation.
  4. Optimize reporting for speed, reusability, and scalability across multiple business units.
  5. Perform regular audits and cleanup of databases and reporting systems to ensure data integrity.
  6. Architect and maintain CRM and project management automations across Salesforce, HubSpot, ClickUp, among others.
  7. Write and maintain scripts and integrations using Python and Java to connect data across systems, automate workflows, and support new business use cases.
Requirements
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, systems integration, or operations/reporting engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced formulas, automation, and cross-sheet integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and APIs, with the ability to write and maintain scripts.
  • Experience with Python and Java is highly preferred (Node.js a plus).
  • BI tools and data pipeline automation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, ClickUp, and workflow automation tools.
