Healthcare Account Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Account Specialist to manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling healthcare accounts, proficiency in AthenaOne EMR software, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of healthcare accounts, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances, and negotiating payment arrangements when necessary.
- Utilize expertise in healthcare accounts to navigate the AthenaOne EMR system effectively.
- Provide detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account updates in our database.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare account management to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of AthenaOne EMR software.
- Demonstrated experience in handling collections accounts and familiarity with collections practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Proficiency in using computer applications and software, including MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
