Business Analyst Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the current and future business environment, gathering and documenting requirements, developing comprehensive business requirements documents, presenting requirements to stakeholders, reviewing proposed solutions, collaborating with product teams, assessing and managing impact on data systems and business processes, supporting development and implementation, validating test case scenarios, ensuring adherence to change control procedures, sharing best practices and insights, and participating in post-implementation reviews.

  • Analyze the current and future business environment and systems landscape.
  • Gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.
  • Develop clear and concise business requirements documents that meet the needs of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.
  • Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.
  • Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Validate test case scenarios against business requirements documents and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.
  • Ensure adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.
  • Share best practices and insights with the wider team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.
