Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Records Reviewer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to provide accurate and timely opinions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepares case files and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) assigned in the client portal.
  • Reviews and bookmarks medical records and creates a synopsis to answer medical opinion questions based on the veteran's medical history.
  • Assists medical providers during scheduled appointments by accessing apps, interviewing veterans, transcribing medical histories, documenting findings, and completing DBQ spreadsheets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and flexibility in your work schedule. Additionally, you should have proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with an active PHRN license.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • Fiber connection with at least 20 Mbps download and upload speeds.
  • Backup internet with minimum 15 Mbps download and upload speeds.
  • Main desktop/laptop: Intel i5–i7, 8 GB RAM; 4th generation or newer.
  • Backup desktop/laptop: Intel i3–i5, 8 GB RAM; 4th generation or newer.
