Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead our end-to-end financial accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting that drives business growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company's finance department and play a critical role in our rapid expansion.

This fully remote position will require close collaboration with our leadership team in Australia to provide strategic financial insights that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience supporting Australian businesses, with a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably with international operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading monthly project costing and departmental reporting;
  • Managing all R&D tax rebate submissions;
  • Enhancing our financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability;
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and CPA qualification (or equivalent);
  • 10+ years experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager supporting an Australian based business (preferably with international operations);
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll and GST legislation;
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building relationships with stakeholders across a business.
