Accounting Manager Position

The key responsibilities of the Accounting Manager are:

  • Managing Financial Operations: Oversees all daily financial functions, including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Leading Subsidiary Accounting Teams: Directly supervises accounting activities for subsidiaries and works closely with third-party accounting firms.
  • Ensuring Financial Accuracy: Reviews and analyzes intercompany accounts, posts subsidiary trial balances, and performs variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Preparing Financial Reports and Compliance Materials: Prepares monthly and year-end financial reports, ensures compliance with US GAAP, and manages audits and filings for subsidiaries.
  • Improving Financial Processes: Leads continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance financial processes and provides support for various ad hoc projects.

For this Accounting Manager position, we seek an individual with:

  • Relevant Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or CPA certification being a plus.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a BPO or service company, and a background with an international company is a must.
  • Skills: Must have a strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • Leadership: Needs to be able to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside of their direct control.
  • Personal Qualities: Possesses strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities and a flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
