Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the maintenance of accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting or a related field and be familiar with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

  • Maintain and update general ledgers to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of ad hoc & monthly reporting, including financial analysis and data interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify payables entries to the correct subsidiary, department, and location.
  • Report on payables & receivables, assist both the AP & AR departments in reporting, complete with days outstanding calculations.

Reconciliations & Analysis

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control.

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in general accounting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
