Metrobank is seeking a highly skilled Remedial Officer to join our Institutional Banking Sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving past due loans and potential problem accounts referred by the Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit evaluation, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to assess and determine the viability or non-viability of a borrower. They will also possess excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with other units of the bank to ensure smooth and proper implementation and documentation of approved settlement schemes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve past due loans and potential problem accounts referred by the Group
- Develop and implement remedial remedies and action plans to reduce Non-Performing Loans (NPL)
- Enhance collateral/security position
- Initiate and sustain legal actions in specific instances
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years experience in handling loan account recovery of Corporate or Institutional accounts
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Knowledgeable in credit analysis
- Detail-oriented
