Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate project estimates and schedules with customers.
  2. Track project finances, timelines, and deliverables.
  3. Supervise and manage project deployments.
  4. Manage project service delivery activities involving direct and subcontract resources.
  5. Plan, estimate, and perform code reviews.
  6. Write functional and design specifications.
  7. Design, implement, and troubleshoot software solutions.
  8. Estimate project scope and adhere to established guidelines and metrics for quality data.
  9. Procure equipment and material as needed.
  10. Provide expert guidance on project management.
  11. Mentor software engineers and act as a manager.
  12. Stay up-to-date with emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required.
  • 10 years or more of software development experience.
  • C++, C, Java, Linux, Unix knowledge required.
  • JLPT Level 1 is required for English native speakers.
  • TOEIC score of 750 or higher is required for Japanese native speakers.
  • JLPT Level 1 and TOEIC score of 750 or higher is required for non-English and non-Japanese native language speakers.
  • Previous telecommunication/data communication project management experience.
  • Technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
