Job Description

This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within either the Sales and Revenue Center of Excellence or the Cost Center of Excellence on key financial systems and models.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and interpret financial information for sales and revenue, and support the Business Decision Support organization in analyzing and monitoring trends and advising internal business customers accordingly.
  • Act as SME within the Sales and Revenue CoE or Cost CoE on key financial systems and models, including Hyperion PBF planning tool, Hyperion Workforce planning tool, Sales data warehouse (Oracle/OBIEE), or other FP&A and Reporting tools owned by the function.
  • Validate and interpret actuals; prepare and explain forecast and budget data; provide commentaries and insights.
  • Deliver reporting and analysis as part of the various reporting cycles, including month-end close, budget and reforecasting; collaborate closely with the Finance Director and Business Controllers of the BDS teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through projects within the BDS function.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related area.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis (revenue, cost, expense); with actual experience in budgeting and providing commentaries.
  • Strong analytical skills, a self-starter with 'can do' mentality; quick learner in a complex and demanding environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting, process, and systems.
  • Affinity with large and complex international working environments; ability to travel occasionally.
  • Commercial and organizational awareness, ideally in a comparable industry.
  • Good communication skills.
