Accounting Specialist Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, journal processing, and payroll journals uploading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Clear clearing account (weekly) reconciliations – all entities.
  • Conduct monthly Direct Debit Reconciliations and Investigations.
  • Prepare monthly Business Activity Statement (BAS).
  • Process journals accurately and efficiently.
  • Upload weekly, monthly and fortnightly payroll journals to the system.
  • Liaise with Finance Operations stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support internal & external audit processes as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Accounting or bookkeeping roles with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with solid academic standing.
  • Experience supporting AU/US/EMEA/APAC markets with a good understanding of regional requirements.
  • Bookkeeping or partial CPA/CA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
