Job Title: Surveillance Operations Specialist

This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a secure environment and ensuring compliance with established policies across multiple facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor live security camera feeds to detect potential threats and breaches
  • Identify and document unauthorized staff departures and clock out employees who leave while still punched in
  • Manage access control systems for high-security locations
  • Respond to incidents, such as theft, physical altercations, medical emergencies, or behavioral issues, and escalate accordingly
Detailed Accountabilities:
  • Supervise designated areas, including medication carts, cash drawers, and food supply rooms
  • Track scheduled shifts and initiate calls for replacement staff when on-duty personnel are absent or fail to report
  • Record all incidents, observations, and enforcement actions in a daily security log
  • Notify supervisors and administrators immediately of any suspected abuse, neglect, theft, or policy violation
  • Review and store footage required for internal investigations or external reporting
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminal justice, security management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
