Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and performing monthly closing procedures.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and at least 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce. They should also have strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office, and experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Reconciling bank statements and performing monthly closing procedures
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems
  • Handling invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time independent contractor role that requires commitment to this position exclusively. We are looking for a professional who can provide excellent service to our clients and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
