We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to manage our accounts receivable and general accounting duties. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with an international team, using Xero to maintain accurate financial records, handle client communications, and support the overall financial strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a strong background in accounts receivable processes. They will be responsible for performing general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and bank reconciliation, assisting with financial reporting and basic analysis, handling accounts payables and supporting tax compliance documentation, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing, and collaborating with internal accounting and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, from invoicing to reconciliation
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers
  • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices
  • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms
  • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards
  • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows
Required Skills:
  • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong background in accounts receivable processes (preferably in Australia)
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written)
