Accounting Manager Role

This is a dynamic and forward-thinking position that oversees accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

About Our Company

We are a rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company providing services in call centre, customer service, software development with a strong focus on culture and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee all daily accounting functions including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Lead Subsidiary Accounting: Supervise accounting activities for subsidiaries and collaborate directly with third-party accounting firms.
  • Ensure Financial Accuracy: Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Develop and submit monthly and year-end financial reports, guarantee compliance with US GAAP, and oversee audits and filings for subsidiaries.
  • Enhance Processes: Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve accounting processes and support various ad-hoc projects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or CPA certification would be beneficial.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience preferably within a BPO or service company, and international background experience is highly valued.
  • You must have a solid grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside direct control.
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication abilities and flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
