Responsibilities
  • Performing audits of client financial statements under supervision.
  • Developing knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Researching and analyzing client data to complete assigned project work.
  • Identifying technical issues in various projects and sharing suggestions with senior personnel.
  • Assisting in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending ways to increase client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience in audit.
  • ERISA and Employee Benefit Plans experience required.
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and industry-specific rules.
  • Experience with paperless auditing applications preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work-from-Home Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum Internet Speed: 50-100 Mbps.
  • Dedicated Home Office Area: Private, quiet workspace.
