Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test cases based on requirements and design documents, as well as performing various types of testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test cases based on requirements and design documents.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases.
  • Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in a digital banking or fintech environment.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and System Testing Life Cycle (STLC) in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Experience testing APIs using Postman and automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
