Job Description

As a seasoned Observability professional, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our organization's monitoring and logging strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining an Observability solution that aligns with our IT strategy and strategic DevOps practices.

  • Collaborate closely with Observability and DevOps engineers to design, build, deploy, and maintain an Observability solution.
  • Integrate OpenTelemetry into software applications and contribute to the development and maintenance of our Observability Platform as part of our DevOps tooling and capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to governance streams, process quality, and architectural design through effective communication.
  • Deliver against both functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Understanding of Observability pillars and knowledge of tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing AWS resources.
  • Demonstrate current experience in Full-Stack Software Engineering using Java, C#, Typescript, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell.
