As a member of the Global Record-to-Report Operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end operational accounting processes and activities within finance functions.

We are seeking a full-time permanent Consultant, Indirect Tax for the Company's Global Indirect Tax Center of Excellence (ITX COE). This role will report to ITX Senior Manager and ensure adherence to indirect tax compliance & regulations in the APAC sub-region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serving as a key member of the Global ITX COE, you will support day-to-day ITX operations for selected countries/legal entities to ensure effective & efficient ITX compliance process.
  • You will prepare, review, and submit ITX reports, such as VAT returns, Sales/Purchases/Importations Listings, and Annual VAT returns.
  • You will assist in preparing for ITX audits and responding to questions from tax authorities.
  • You will provide assistance and advice on a wide range of ITX questions from internal stakeholders and help process teams with correct ITX treatment/coding.
  • You will perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, reconcile ITX reports and accounting reports, and complete necessary accounting follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax Law/Law; a CPA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance within a multinational company or Big 4 firm.
  • 5+ years of experience in a tax-focused role within a corporate environment or leading consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of local indirect tax regulations and familiarity with international tax protocols.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP; exposure to e-invoicing is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in ITX accounting management, tax reconciliations, and tax reporting.
