Our organization is expanding its Knowledge Center Finance team in Cebu to support our global logistics operations.
Job Description
As a valued member of the finance team, you will work closely with the GL & Reporting Team Leader to execute tasks related to General Ledger and Reporting – Tax. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the review and management of corporate income tax declarations and associated filings for ASP entities.
- Assisting with tax accounting, including deferred tax assets and liabilities.
- Monitoring and maintaining deferred tax schedules.
- Preparing and reconciling tax provisions.
- Supporting tax computations for financial statements and analyzing differences between tax and accounting treatments.
- Tracking and analyzing tax losses carried forward and credits.
- Supporting tax audits by providing documentation and analysis.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax reporting obligations.
- Implementing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Identifying control gaps, assessing risks, and recommending improvements within the Internal Control System.
- Ensuring adherence to Corporate Finance and Accounting Guidelines.
- Aligning accounting processes with IFRS and corporate standards.
- Finalizing tax computations for legal entities during year-end reporting.
- Maintaining tax and statutory books monthly via ACON adjustments.
- Assisting in reconciling IC transactions for transfer pricing across relevant countries.
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with financial software and systems is also desirable.
