This job posting seeks an experienced bookkeeper to manage high-volume financial operations for a scaling EV infrastructure business.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have proven proficiency with financial software, advanced Excel skills, and solid experience with fixed asset management. They should also possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes through Bill.com platform with approval workflows
  • Handle accounts receivable operations and customer billing processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks records for all financial transactions
  • Create and maintain detailed depreciation schedules for high-value fixed assets ($50,000-$100,000 charging systems)
  • Execute thorough monthly closing procedures including fixed asset reporting
  • Perform complex reconciliation of thousands of monthly transactions, matching software-generated reports against actual cash receipts
  • Download, process, and analyze detailed transaction reports from charging network software
  • Record and categorize high-volume transaction data with precision and accuracy
Requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets, complex formulas, and sophisticated reconciliation processes
  • Solid experience with fixed asset management and depreciation schedule creation
  • Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably with US-based clients
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transaction processing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling thousands of data points
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
  • Commitment to working Eastern Time business hours (9 AM - 5 PM ET)
