Senior DevOps Engineer - Observability & Reliability Focus

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in monitoring, alerting, and incident management for production systems.

This role involves designing dashboards, building alerting pipelines, and using automation to reduce toil while ensuring system uptime. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of engineering and operations—quickly identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements that prevent recurrence.

The selected individual will be passionate about keeping systems stable, proactive in detecting anomalies, and experienced in coordinating response during critical incidents. Strong communication skills under pressure, especially during incident calls, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz).
  • Develop scripting skills for automation (Python, TypeScript, or Bash).
  • Experience running and improving incident response processes.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud environments is desirable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High-uptime or mission-critical environment experience.
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets).
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools for operational workflows.
  • Open-source contributions to monitoring or incident tooling.
