This position plays a critical role in ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental management in onshore operations. As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to mitigate risks and foster a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Organize and deliver comprehensive HSE training sessions for employees to promote safety awareness and mitigate risks.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to HSE activities, incidents, and inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the oil & gas EPC sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as necessary.
