Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Technical Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and delivering projects related activities.


This role requires extensive experience with Oracle EBS R12 functional support, finance process flows, double entry accounting principles, and the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop interface solutions for inbound and outbound dataflows as well as data migrations.
  • Configure and support workflow within Oracle EBS.
  • Create and maintain PL/SQL packages.
  • Develop and maintain OA framework.
  • Develop Oracle reports within the application.
  • Perform month end processing activities.
  • Provide peer code reviews for developments created by other technical team members.
  • Review and appraise functional and non-functional requirements in order to design and deliver software solutions.
  • Develop software that conforms to industry and best practices/coding standards.
  • Offer support and assistance to colleagues where appropriate and provide system knowledge sharing.
  • Produce detailed and thorough documentation in relation to development processes and tasks.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of service and implementation of global development standards.
  • Ensure compliance and operational risk requirements are met (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements).
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as Oracle EBS Technical Analyst.
  • Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in the following modules:
    • AP, AR, GL, iProc, PO (essential).
    • FA, PA, OTL, CE, iExp (desirable).

  • Experience of finance process flows and double entry accounting principals.
  • Experience of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery.
  • Working within support and project delivery roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Competent technical skills in the following:
    • Extensive experience with SQL & PL/SQL.
    • Good experience of Oracle report builder & form builder.
    • BI Publisher.
    • Workflow.
    • Alerts.
    • AME.
    • APEX.
    • Design and Build interfaces.
    • Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).
    • Data migration (incl. data loaders and More4Apps).
    • Setup migration (incl. iSetups and ConfigSnapshot).
    • Performance tuning.

  • MS Office expert user.
