
Support Operations Specialist

The primary function of this role is to provide exceptional support to various departments, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. This position involves coordinating administrative tasks, managing technical documentation, assisting with asset management, and liaising with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:- A. Technical Support Functions
- Provide initial troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Coordinate with the Main Office IT Team for escalations, system updates, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of technical equipment.
- Support account setup for new hires as instructed by the main IT team.
- Conduct preliminary diagnostics before sending equipment for repair or replacement.
- Monitor and report technical equipment usage, incidents, and downtime to the main IT team.
- B. Administrative Functions
- Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day admin concerns in the office.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, coordinating with the Admin Team in the main office for approvals and budgets.
- Maintain an organized filing system for records, documents, and correspondence.
- Facilitate logistics for meetings and events in the office.
- Monitor and replenish office consumables following approved procurement procedures.
- C. Asset Management
- Act as the on-site custodian for all assets in the office.
- Maintain updated inventory records in coordination with the Asset Management team in the main office.
- Conduct regular physical asset counts and reconcile with the master list.
- Oversee distribution, transfer, or retrieval of assets as instructed by the main office.
- Ensure proper tagging, safekeeping, and maintenance of all assets.
- Report damages, losses, or disposals to the main office for documentation and approval.
- D. Coordination & Reporting
- Provide weekly status reports to department heads in the main office.
- Participate in regular virtual coordination meetings with main office teams.
- Submit incident reports, inventory updates, and admin logs on time.
- Escalate urgent concerns immediately to the appropriate department head.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
- Note: Emphasis on Technical Support and Administrative experience. Technical Support: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hardware/software troubleshooting, account setup, and network support.
- Administrative: At least 1 year of experience in office administration, procurement coordination, or clerical support.
- Asset Management: Experience in asset inventory, tagging, custodianship, and reconciliation.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of IT tools/software (ticketing systems, RMM tools, VPNs)
- Attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
