Global Payments Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in managing cross-border payments and bank transfers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international finance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Payment Management: Oversee the end-to-end processing of cross-border and multi-currency payments, ensuring timely and accurate execution across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Banking Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with international banks and payment service providers, facilitating seamless transactions and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, monitor compliance standards, and implement best practices in cross-border payments.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts, monitor transaction discrepancies, and generate detailed reports on payment activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment workflows, optimize transaction costs, and enhance operational efficiency through the use of modern payment technologies and tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to support financial planning, budgeting, and audit processes related to international transactions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in managing multi-country payments, bank transfers, or similar financial operations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of international banking systems, multi-currency payment processing, and financial reconciliation software.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments in different regions.
  • Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
