We're seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our fast-paced health tech startup. As the sole designer, you'll lead the end-to-end design of a consumer-facing aged care mobile app and a platform for healthcare professionals and systems.

Key responsibilities will include designing user-friendly, scalable solutions that meet the unique needs of the aged care market. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality designs that improve patient outcomes and accessibility.

  1. Design a consumer-facing aged care mobile app and a platform for health systems and healthcare professionals
  2. Use Figma as your primary design tool and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results
  3. Conduct design research and user analysis to understand diverse user groups, especially older adults
  4. Create accessible, high-contrast interfaces that cater to the aged care market
  5. Establish a design system and clear workflows for feedback and approvals

Requirements for this role include:

  • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in healthcare or medical tech products
  • 2+ years of startup experience with independent work management
  • Experience designing for older adults (ages 65 to 80) with a focus on accessibility and usability
  • Proficiency in Figma and strong design research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong visual design abilities and a portfolio showing clean, custom work
