Software Engineer - Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our LegalMatch platform.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing new features, as well as enhancing and maintaining existing software products. You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of software projects.

As a member of our team, you will actively participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a healthy codebase. You will also continuously enhance your technical knowledge and share insights with the team to assist in diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolution strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, encompassing frontend, backend, and DevOps with proficiency in Java frameworks, especially Spring and Spring Boot.

You will be proficient in front-end development tools and frameworks, including Vanilla JS and React, and have competency in Object-Oriented Design, functional programming, and scripting.

Familiarity with modern software architectures, such as microservices, and deployment tools, such as CI/CD and Docker, is essential. Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) is also required.

Additionally, you will have knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems and be skilled in system-level design, web services, and version control, using Git.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about current and emerging technologies and have proven experience in software development projects.

They will be familiar with Agile Scrum methodologies and have experience with cloud platforms, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and be committed to maintaining high software quality standards.
