Job Title:

Senior Financial Management Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of a small finance team while prioritizing own workload and projects.
  • Conduct performance management, career development, and staffing decisions for the team. Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly/annual reporting processes, preparing analyses of results relative to prior year, prior month, and/or plan focusing on key business factors driving financial performance.
  • Prepare and present financial information to senior management and business unit officers through analysis and communication skills.
  • Lead special projects and ad-hoc requests to support corporate controllers and group managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial results and projections.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present relevant information to senior management and business unit officers.
  • Proficient personal computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) to perform analyses and communicate financial information.
  • Knowledge of accounting, reporting, and financial analysis usually acquired through an advanced degree program or related work experience.
  • At least 5-8 years of related experience with emphasis on project analysis and management reporting, planning, and analysis.
