About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining robust systems and infrastructure for processing and analyzing large and complex datasets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud-based systems using tools like Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and AWS or GCP.
  • Create high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data in both real-time market data and batch formats.
  • Utilize tools like Jenkins and GitLab to automate development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of various data applications, pipelines, and databases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and build analytical products and services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading junior engineers
  • Proficiency in Python with at least one data manipulation framework (e.g., Pandas, Dask, Pyspark) and SQL; knowledge of other languages like Java, C#, or C++ is beneficial.
  • Experience with REST APIs and building scalable API data platforms (e.g., FastAPI)
