Electrical Engineer Role

The Electrical Engineer position is a critical component of our organization. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Associate.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review electrical plans, specifications, and addenda to comprehend project scope, ensuring accurate interpretation and translation into actionable tasks.
  2. Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs for devices, wiring, conduits, panels, switchgear, lighting, and other systems, utilizing precision and attention to detail.
  3. Employ digital takeoff tools to measure and quantify materials with accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Prepare organized takeoff sheets and data for the estimating team, facilitating seamless collaboration and decision-making.
  5. Coordinate with senior estimators to clarify scope and resolve drawing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Track and maintain project takeoff files, ensuring up-to-date information and efficient access.
  7. Update estimating workbooks with vendor quotes and revised quantities, promoting data-driven decision-making and informed strategic planning.

Our ideal candidate possesses a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical estimating, takeoffs, or drafting. They will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules.
