Security Operations Center Analyst

Detect and investigate security incidents on a global network, ensuring timely detection and mitigation of threats. This role involves monitoring alarms and alerts, investigating incidents, and documenting findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate security incidents and escalate them to the relevant teams.
  • Develop and follow processes for security monitoring and response.
  • Monitor and analyze data sources for suspicious activities and anomalies.
  • Communicate with data asset owners and stakeholders during security incidents.
  • Support compliance audits and maintain SOC team performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of SOC processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with system logs and their significance.
  • Enthusiasm and interest in Information Security.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience in Security Operations Center or related field.
  • 2+ years working in Information Security or equivalent education.
  • Experience with SOC team processes and knowledge of SOC best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM and EDR monitoring incident management.
