Job Summary

This role is designed to provide proactive and effective responses to cybersecurity-related events and incidents, protecting the company's assets and services.

The ideal candidate will support business stakeholders during security incidents, assist in incident management and escalation processes, and investigate diverse alerts.

  • Investigate and analyze suspicious events across various security platforms.
  • Proactively monitor and respond to incidents, using multiple security tools to identify potential threats.
  • Conduct initial incident analysis of security alerts, examining security-related logs from various sources.
  • Provide recommendations for deeper analysis and triage to Tier 2 resources.
  • Escalate cybersecurity incidents to Tier 2 resources and incident responders using incident management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a globally distributed team.
  • Understanding of threat actors, techniques, and procedures used by modern attackers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and respond to security alerts, using multiple security tools.
  2. Conduct research on current and emerging threats and risks.
  3. Provide assessments and recommendations for mitigating threats and suppressing false positive alerts.
