The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tax reports prepared by Financial Planning Analysts of each Jebsen & Jessen Philippines entity for completeness and accuracy prior filing of local tax returns in a timely manner.

The role entails developing annual tax planning to address key areas of concern based on BIR tax findings of non-compliance (LOA, PAN, FAN, FDDA) and recommendations by tax consultants. Identify potential tax problems and recommend solutions/alternatives.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Review tax reports prepared by Financial Planning Analysts of each Jebsen & Jessen Philippines entity for completeness and accuracy prior filing of local tax returns in a timely manner.
  2. Develop annual tax planning to address key areas of concern based on BIR tax findings of non-compliance (LOA, PAN, FAN, FDDA) and recommendations by tax consultants.
  3. Identify potential tax problems and recommend solutions/alternatives.
  4. Outline responses and prepare schedules and reconciliations in preparation for income tax audits.
  5. Monitor developments in tax legislation i.e. RMOs and inform both local and regional management.
  6. Review and evaluate compliance to all tax-related transactions and processes.
  7. Supervise Financial Planning Analysts of each Jebesen & Jessen Philippines Entities to ensure that tax returns / deferred tax packages are completed correctly / in a timely manner.
  8. Liaise with BIR and government offices when needed.
  9. Assist with tax compliance deadlines, extensions and audits.
  10. Review HR reportorial to BIR for Compensation and Benefits on Accuracy of Tax Deductions, Withholding and filing.
  11. Build rapport with local tax authorities.
