As a professional video producer, you will be responsible for creating engaging videos for our client's channels.

The videos will be a mix of educational tutorials about software plugins and how-to content showcasing product capabilities. They will consist of on-camera footage, images, and screencasts with voiceover.

You will need experience in both hands-on production and editing, handling all stages of the video creation process. Your role will involve implementing a video strategy and SEO goals provided by our team lead or taking the lead on research and strategy yourself.

This is a permanent, full-time position working remotely from your own location. You will be motivated to produce high-quality content at a high volume with minimal supervision.

All your work will be focused on driving sales and conversions through compelling video content. You will follow a data-driven approach, seeking evidence to inform planning; implementing videos; and then evaluating impact to make ongoing improvements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create a video content calendar that aligns with our marketing objectives.
  • Produce and edit engaging educational, general, and brand video content that showcases software capabilities.
  • Work with clients to obtain video testimonials that demonstrate product value.
  • Design supporting images to illustrate videos, such as opening and closing slides.
  • Create featured images for videos or collaborate with our designer to create these assets.
  • Optional - Produce other types of video content like tutorials and animated GIFs highlighting software features.
  • Optional - Conduct keyword research and analytics to identify new video ideas.
  • Optional - Analyze the impact of existing videos and look for opportunities to optimize performance.
  • Optional - Create your own featured images for videos.
RequirementsHard Skills:
  • Basic experience working with WordPress CMS, including site creation, content management, and plugin installation.
  • Proven experience in producing and editing quality videos for online publication.
  • Experience creating screencasts that effectively communicate software functionality.
  • Ability to create visual aids to support video content, including image editing and design.
  • Familiarity with YouTube trends and conventions to maximize engagement and views.
Soft Skills:
  • Fluent spoken English with a clear accent, essential for effective communication.
  • Strong on-camera presence and narration skills.
  • An engaging and enthusiastic personality that captures the viewer's interest and motivates them to learn more about our products.
  • Ability to translate technical software features into compelling video content.
  • Clear and concise communication style, making complex concepts accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Professional tone and presentation style, balancing promotion with subtlety.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality video content.
  • Confidence and comfort in front of the camera, essential for success in this role.
