Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to lead our Integrated Compliance Services (ICS) team. This role will involve collaborating with Business Systems Specialists of Compliance in the implementation, requirement gathering and data analysis, and user acceptance testing of solutions that conform to Manulife compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver successful initiatives in a timely manner based on project objectives and success criteria.
  • Promote collaboration among business stakeholders, the Business Transformation Office, the Project Management Office, and Information Services partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Produce high-quality business requirements, including collecting, analyzing, validating and documenting business users' needs.
  • Identify and escalate key risks, issues and dependencies, as well as cost-benefit tradeoffs among various options to align with overall project and program objectives.
  • Apply process modeling and analysis skills, including process improvements, gap analysis between current and future state, and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure effective change management within projects, minimizing impact to projects from changes to business requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Project Management, with knowledge of project management systems or leading successful projects.
  • Understanding of AML/ATF compliance, Sanctions Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.
  • A college or university degree and/or equivalent experience.
