Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of shipments and providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

  • Main operational point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of a load
  • Responsible for coordinating all shipments and communicating with scheduling, load management and carrier sales teams
  • Proactive communication with customers on the status of their shipments and when issues arise
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure loads meet OTP and OTD standards

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  2. Operational Support: Assist with coordinating shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, and resolving any issues that may arise
  3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution of shipments and meet business objectives
